On Saturday 12th of August, ‘I Am Peace’ Camp was quiet a remarkable one as the ‘I Am Peace’ volleyball team gave DRC team a peaceful co existence win by letting DRC beat them 52 against 37….The volleyball match between the two teams kicked off around 4pm. A lot of fun was what everyone who attended the camp had. That was not all, we also got a chance to teach the DRC team our wobble dance and we sat down for our usual dialogue where we shared a lot together.
If you missed out on that, don’t miss out on this weeks’ I am Peace Camp as we do it once again every Saturday from 3pm to 6:30pm at MACI located on Comboni road. Come we dance, play various games, come test your Brain by getting involved in the scramble competition, come write peaceful messages for the world out there and come we sit together and dialogue about issues in our communities in relation to peaceful co existence.
During this weeks’ edition of the camp, we shall continue to dialogue about bride price in relation to peaceful co existence that will be after the games. Meanwhile our community dialogues in the various refugee settlement camps in Adjumani are still on going. Great thanks to DRC for supporting us. Training for the inter school secondary debate competitions are also on going being carried out by some of the team….. We shall always keep you posted on our various activities that are up coming…. Meanwhile, don’t forget Saturday, 3 to 6:30pm at MACI. See you there!
